Take the Spider Diet Weight Loss Pledge

May 31st, 2010 by admin

Good Morrow! As you continue to learn the skills taught in The Spider Diet, you may be motivated to lose some weight! To celebrate, we have decided to encourage you by creating a community weight loss pledge. If you are serious about weight loss, complete the weight loss poll on the right selecting the weight you pledge to lose by January 1, 2011. Our goal is to have 1100 pounds pledged, one for each friend on facebook. That’s right, I want y’all to collectively lose over a half a ton of weight! I have already pledged 20 pounds. Care to join me?

Both Jodi and I hope that as you learn the skills taught in The Spider Diet, your excess weight will come off easily. I will soon be talking about the concept of a branch point. A branch point “is subordinate to a component of the vicious cycle and is usually a result of that component. The vicious cycle usually ‘feeds’ the branch points; therefore, when you break the vicious cycle you tend to break the branch points derived from the cycle as well.”

If the concept of a branch point doesn’t make sense now, it should as you continue to watch the YouTube videos. But let me try to briefly develop the concept. Obesity causes high blood pressure and cholesterol. High blood pressure and cholesterol are branch points of the vicious cycle of being overweight. When you break the vicious cycle of obesity and lose weight, you tend to “lose” blood pressure and cholesterol as well — both come down. Get it?

I hope you decide to join us. Just think how healthy we will all be come January 1st!
